# UAVOS UVH-500 – Heavy-Lift VTOL Unmanned Helicopter
The UVH-500 (KAHU-150) by UAVOS Inc. is a heavy-lift VTOL unmanned helicopter built on the certified CH-7 airframe platform. Designed for cargo delivery, ISR, and scientific research missions, it combines rugged performance with advanced autonomy and safety systems, making it highly adaptable for defense, logistics, and industrial operations.
The UVH-500 supports a maximum payload of 160 kg, with endurance up to 7 hours with lighter loads and 2 hours with heavier payloads. Its 840 km range and 500 kg MTOW make it one of the most capable UAV helicopters in its class.
It achieves cruising speeds of 120–160 km/h, a VNE of 209 km/h, and a maximum altitude of 5,000 m, supported by a climb rate of 5 m/s. Powered by a Rotax 914 UL engine with enhanced cooling, it delivers reliable performance in diverse environments.
Equipped with TECS-based flight control, redundant autopilot systems, auto-rotation landing, and a parachute recovery system, the UVH-500 ensures safety and reliability during extended operations. It also integrates an ADS-B transponder and radio altimeter for enhanced situational awareness.
Compatible with EO/IR, SAR/GMTI, LiDAR, and hyperspectral sensors, the UVH-500 is suitable for ISR, agricultural spraying, radio relay, and scientific monitoring, with options for custom SDK integration.
