# UAVOS UVH 170 – Long-Endurance Gasoline VTOL Unmanned Helicopter
The UVH 170 by UAVOS Inc. is a compact VTOL unmanned helicopter powered by a gasoline 4-stroke engine. Designed for long-range, endurance, and multi-mission flexibility, it is capable of operating in extreme environments while carrying diverse payloads for industrial and defense applications.
The UVH 170 offers up to 5 hours of flight endurance with a 4 kg payload and approximately 3 hours with the maximum payload of 10 kg. It achieves a range of 350 km, providing reliable long-distance coverage for BVLOS operations.
With a maximum takeoff weight of 45 kg and an empty weight of 28 kg, the UAV balances agility with payload capacity. It cruises efficiently at 60 km/h with a top speed of 120 km/h, and can operate up to 2,500 meters altitude in winds of 14 m/s. Its tropical cooling system ensures operation in temperatures from −35 °C to +40 °C.
The UAV is equipped with fully autonomous flight systems, including automatic takeoff and landing. Safety features include parachute and autorotation recovery systems, along with wireless diagnostics and remote mission planning. It supports satellite-based BVLOS communication, increasing its operational flexibility.
The platform can carry EO/IR cameras, LiDAR, and multispectral sensors up to 10 kg, making it suitable for surveillance, infrastructure monitoring, environmental research, and logistics.
