The Rogue 1 from Teledyne FLIR is an advanced optionally-lethal VTOL loitering munition designed to provide small units with precision strike capability at extended standoff ranges. Developed to support modern battlefield demands, the system merges reconnaissance, targeting, and munitions deployment in a single, compact UAV.
Rogue 1 delivers burst speeds exceeding 70 mph (113 km/h) with a 30-minute endurance and an operational range beyond 10 km, enabling agile response and flexible mission reach.
It supports interchangeable payloads—including explosively formed penetrator (EFP), forward fragmenting, and training warheads—mounted on a gimballed sensor-warhead coupling for high targeting precision.
A mechanical interrupt fuzing system allows recall or abort of missions with safe warhead disablement and potential drone recovery and reuse when engagement is not executed.
Equipped with electro-optical and FLIR Boson 640+ thermal cameras, the Rogue 1 provides day/night ISR capability. Sensor and warhead integration yields precise target discrimination with minimal collateral damage.
Designed to operate in GPS-denied and contested environments, the system supports autonomous operation with sensor-based navigation and encrypted communications.
