# Bayraktar TB3 – Carrier-Capable UCAV
The Bayraktar TB3 is a naval unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) designed by Baykar Technologies to operate from short-runway aircraft carriers. Featuring foldable wings, it maximizes carrier efficiency while maintaining endurance and strike power for modern defense missions.
The TB3 is engineered with foldable wings that enable storage and deployment on aircraft carriers. Its ability to perform short-runway takeoff and landing makes it highly suitable for naval platforms.
With a 280 kg payload capacity across six hardpoints, the TB3 carries laser-guided bombs, GPS/INS munitions, infrared-guided missiles, and even air-to-air weapons, ensuring multi-role strike capability.
Equipped with EO/IR/LD sensors, AESA radar, ELINT, and sonobuoy payloads, the TB3 supports wide-area reconnaissance and intelligence gathering, enhancing situational awareness.
The TB3 achieves over 21 hours of endurance, a service ceiling of 25,000 ft, and a cruise speed of 110–130 KTAS. Its 1,600 kg MTOW and efficient turbodiesel powerplant make it suitable for long-duration missions.
Fully autonomous taxi, takeoff, flight, and landing reduce operator demands. Its LOS and BLOS communication systems ensure extended mission reach and secure control in global operations.
