# Bayraktar Akıncı – Strategic Class HALE UCAV
The Bayraktar Akıncı is a High-Altitude Long-Endurance (HALE) Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) developed by Baykar Technologies. Designed as a strategic-class platform, Akıncı can perform missions traditionally carried out by fighter jets, including surveillance, air-to-ground, and air-to-air attack operations.
Akıncı is equipped with dual artificial intelligence avionics that support real-time signal processing, sensor fusion, and situational awareness. Its triple redundant autopilot system, fault-tolerant architecture, and redundant servo actuators ensure reliability across missions. It is capable of fully autonomous take-off, landing, taxiing, and cruise.
Akıncı uses LOS and BLOS communication links with SATCOM integration, enabling global operations. Ground Control Stations support trailer, shelter, or indoor configurations, with redundant systems for command and image exploitation.
