# Drones Tech Lab VYOM X1 – VTOL Hybrid Drone for Surveying and Mapping
The VYOM X1 by Drones Tech Lab is a high-endurance VTOL hybrid UAV engineered for precision surveying, mapping, and industrial applications. Integrating a multirotor lift system with a fixed-wing pusher configuration, it ensures efficient long-distance flight while maintaining stability and control in diverse conditions.
VYOM X1 offers vertical take-off and landing capabilities, eliminating the need for runways, and seamlessly transitions into efficient fixed-wing flight for extended coverage. The VTOL is facilitated by a puller quadcopter configuration.
Designed for prolonged missions, the UAV achieves over 120 minutes of flight time with a 500g payload, and up to 140 minutes with no payload, ensuring extensive survey coverage and operational flexibility.
Equipped with redundant RTK-enabled GNSS, triple IMU sensors, and pitot-based airspeed sensing, it delivers highly accurate positioning, stability, and reliable flight control.
The UAV employs FHSS technology for secure, interference-resistant data transmission. Standard telemetry covers 20–30 km LOS, extendable up to 100 km with optional modules.
Supports 4K/2K/1080p/720p cameras with 6X digital zoom, and wide-angle gimbal movement, enabling precise mapping, inspection, and monitoring.
An optional radar-based velocity system allows operations in GPS-compromised environments up to 1 km range from the ground.
