# Skyways V2 – Autonomous Cargo Drone for Long-Range Logistics
The V2 from Skyways is a high-endurance, hybrid VTOL cargo aircraft designed to deliver essential supplies and equipment in remote or infrastructure-challenged environments. Capable of vertical takeoff and landing and fixed-wing efficient cruise, it is suited for oil & gas, defense, humanitarian, and beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) operations.
V2 uses electric power for vertical lift during takeoff and landing, then switches to fuel-based propulsion for efficient forward flight. The transition enables long-range missions without needing runways.
It achieves up to 450 miles of range and about 8 hours of flight endurance, enabling it to connect remote sites, islands, offshore platforms, or difficult terrain with reduced reliance on ground infrastructure.
With a useful load of 30 lb, V2’s cargo bay of approximately 1 ft³ allows transport of medical supplies, tools, communication gear or light hardware. Its design balances payload weight with operational efficiency.
Powered by aviation-grade fuel types such as JP-5 or Jet A-1, V2 is built for harsh environments, marine exposure, and demanding mission profiles, including frequent excursions over open water or rugged terrain.
Skyways V2 is operational today, flying daily logistics missions with high levels of autonomy. It supports quick turnaround operations in remote regions, frequently flying missions with minimal human oversight.
