The RQ-35 Heidrun, under AIRO Group’s Sky-Watch brand, is a battle-proven fixed-wing mini unmanned aerial system designed for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) in high-threat and contested environments. It impresses with its long endurance, modular payloads, and capability to operate when GPS signals are unavailable or under electronic warfare interference.
Heidrun delivers up to 150 minutes of flight time (with GEO INTEL payload) or 100 minutes (with EO/IR payload), coupled with a transmission range of approximately +40 km.
With a take-off weight of 2.7 kg, the system is hand-launched and designed for rapid deployment from backpack or case kits. It can be prepared and airborne in under 5 minutes.
The RQ-35 operates effectively in GNSS/GPS-denied environments and under electronic warfare pressure. It is trusted by NATO forces and has demonstrated its resilience in conflict zones like Ukraine.
Carries up to a 500-gram payload, allowing for different mission configurations. Compatible payloads include a triple-lens camera, a visible light (EO) camera with 80x zoom, and an EO/IR camera with thermal imaging.
Operated via touchscreen tablets with an intuitive interface. It is BVLOS certified for peacetime training and can integrate with tactical battlefield systems like ATAK-Mil.
