# Phoenix Wings PW.Orca – Heavy-Duty VTOL Cargo Drone
The PW.Orca by Phoenix Wings is a high-performance, professional VTOL cargo drone engineered for logistics operations where volume, weight, and reliability matter. Designed to carry bulky and heavy goods, it features a 96-liter payload bay and can lift up to 15 kg, making it ideal for medical delivery, urgent supplies transport, and autonomous cargo services.
The PW.Orca offers a spacious, modular payload compartment (96 L) and supports slide-in pallets, nose canopy loading, and belly doors for efficient loading/unloading. Batteries can be installed independently or combined with cargo pallets for fast swaps.
Built with redundant powertrains, sensors, and actuators, plus a parachute rescue system, the drone remains operable even if some components fail. It’s engineered to withstand wind speeds up to 45 km/h, light rain, and sea salt aerosols.
Cruising at 110 km/h, the PW.Orca delivers up to 60 km range when fully loaded (15 kg). With lighter payloads it can fly much further—for example 100 km with ~10 kg, extending its flexibility in route planning.
With a wingspan of 2.98 m, MTOW around 52 kg, and design features tailored to meet EASA regulations, the PW.Orca is “authority-friendly”. Triple command & control link (Satcom, 4G/3G/2G & PW.Link) ensures resilient communications.
