# Fly4Future PORTOS – Modular Robotic Drone System
The PORTOS from Fly4Future is a highly versatile modular drone platform centered around a robust carbon composite tube housing essential electronics—flight control, compute, battery, and radio systems—protected from harsh weather, dust, and water. The design enables rapid transformation into a multicopter, land rover, boat (catamaran), or VTOL fixed-wing aircraft by swapping modules such as arms, wheels, floats, or wings.
PORTOS’s core tube allows for quick module additions or replacements—arms, wheels, floats, wings—making it adaptable to varied mission profiles: aerial, terrestrial, maritime, or hybrid robotics.
Constructed using carbon composites, the system offers high durability while remaining lightweight, enabling exceptional performance and easy transport.
Configurations can span approximately 2 kg to over 20 kg in total system weight, depending on the chosen modules and mission requirements. The PORTOS H410 variant supports up to 10 kg payload and achieves up to 60 minutes of flight time with a 500g payload.
The foldable arms and modular nature allow compact disassembly—such as fitting into a backpack—facilitating convenient field deployment and maintenance.
Electronics are fully protected within the core tube, ensuring ease of upgrades and repairs by swapping exposed modules without complex servicing. Front and rear ends support camera systems, sensors, or lights for mission-specific customization.
