The MQ-4C Triton is a high-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aircraft developed by Northrop Grumman for persistent maritime surveillance and intelligence collection. It ensures broad domain awareness across oceans, coastal regions, and strategic maritime chokepoints, supporting military, homeland security, and intelligence operations.
Triton can operate at altitudes over 50,000 feet for more than 24 hours, covering up to 7,400 nautical miles per mission. This endurance allows continuous monitoring without frequent returns to base, providing reliable maritime situational awareness.
Equipped with a 360-degree sensor suite, Triton can detect, track, and classify targets over wide areas. Its multi-intelligence capability enables rapid decision-making and four times the ISR coverage compared to other autonomous UAVs.
