# WB Group FLYEYE mini UAS – Close-Range Observation and Reconnaissance Platform
The FLYEYE mini UAS from WB Group is a modular unmanned aerial system designed for military surveillance, reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, and target acquisition (ISTAR). With hand-launch capability, dual camera payloads, and rapid deployment, it is tailored for missions in both urban and rugged environments.
With a 3.6 m wingspan and 1.8 m length, the drone is powered by a quiet electric motor and lithium-polymer batteries. A foldable propeller enables easy hand-launch, and the system is mission-ready in under 10 minutes.
It achieves speeds of 60–120 km/h, with endurance up to 2.5–3 hours. Operating altitude reaches 3,000 m AMSL, and communication covers 50 km LOS, extendable to 180 km with advanced antennas.
The system carries a dual observation head (visible + IR), switchable in real-time. Payload capacity is 4 kg, supporting modular integrations like acoustic sensors or light precision weapons.
FLYEYE is hand-launched and features a unique recovery method: the payload and batteries detach via parachute, ensuring protection, while the airframe glides to landing.
It supports autonomous flight, route modification, target tracking, and dual ground control operation, enhancing flexibility in field missions.
