# Freefly Alta X – Heavy-Lift Drone for Cinema and Industrial Applications
The Freefly Alta X is a high-performance heavy-lift drone designed for cinema and industrial applications, offering a 35 lb payload capacity, 50-minute flight time, and a modular design for versatile use. Engineered from the ground up, the Alta X leverages large, efficient propellers to deliver exceptional control and precision, hallmarks of the renowned Alta line.
With a maximum payload capacity of 35 lbs, the Alta X can carry professional cinema cameras such as Arri Alexa Mini, Sony Venice 2, and RED cameras, as well as industrial payloads like LiDAR systems and mapping cameras.
The Alta X offers up to 50 minutes of flight time without payload and up to 30 minutes with an 11 lb payload, such as the Phoenix LiDAR system, allowing for extended missions without frequent battery changes.
The drone's modular design includes quick-release mounting systems, making it easy to switch between different payloads and configurations. This versatility is ideal for various applications, from aerial cinematography to industrial inspections.
Equipped with ActiveBlade technology, the Alta X reduces motor vibrations to one-fifth of normal levels, ensuring stable footage and precise control during flight.
The Alta X features a foldable design, allowing it to collapse to half its size with a simple push, ensuring easy transport and quick setup for on-the-go operations.
