# ACSL AirTruck – Japan’s First Mass-Produced Logistics Drone
The AirTruck, developed by ACSL Ltd. in collaboration with Aeronext, is Japan’s first mass-produced drone specifically designed for last-mile logistics. With a focus on stability, usability, and real-world delivery performance, it brings industrial-grade capability to everyday aerial transport.
Utilizing Aeronext’s proprietary 4D GRAVITY structural design, the AirTruck maintains a stable center of gravity even during forward-lean flight, reducing cargo sway and improving flight quality. The cargo compartment remains horizontal thanks to a coupled-structure mechanism, ensuring stable and reliable delivery operations.
Through aerodynamic simulations and wind tunnel testing, the AirTruck achieves enhanced flight performance, enabling faster, more efficient, and longer-distance operations tailored for logistics missions.
Equipped with LTE communications for video streaming and telemetry, the AirTruck supports beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) operations (Level-3), expanding operational range and flexibility.
With a 5 kg payload capacity, the AirTruck outperforms conventional platform drones (which typically carry around 3 kg). It achieves approximately 50 minutes of flight time with a 3.5 kg payload, and about 35 minutes with a full 5 kg load. It can also cover up to 20 km in a single flight.
Designed for ease of use, the drone features a top-loading cargo compartment, allowing for quick and intuitive payload loading and unloading—ideal for rapid logistics operations.
Created to address labor shortages and challenges in last-mile delivery—especially in regions affected by aging populations and limited workforce—the AirTruck brings digital logistics solutions to real-world community needs.
