As DJI Neo 2 Arrives in the U.S., Neo Drone Price Drops to $159
DJI
December 9, 2025 (UNITED STATES) – DJI’s Neo 2 drone has quietly entered the US market via third-party resellers, causing a major price drop for the original DJI Neo. The drone now retails for just $159, marking the lowest price ever for a 4K DJI camera drone.
“Neo 2 offers a bigger camera sensor, improved stabilization, better low-light performance, stronger tracking, and added safety features, making it a significant upgrade over the original Neo,” reports Ishveena Singh for DroneDJ.
Pricing Highlights:
- Original DJI Neo (Drone-only): $159 (down from $199)
- DJI Neo Fly More Combo: $229 (down from $289)
- DJI Neo Motion Fly More Combo (with RC Motion 3 and Goggles N3): $929
- Fly More Combo with three batteries: ~$459 via US Amazon third-party sellers
While Neo 2 is gaining attention, US availability is limited due to import pressures, regulatory delays, and inconsistent restocking. Buyers are advised to act quickly, as units are scarce and supply is unpredictable.
Despite its small 135 g frame, the original Neo offers FAA registration exemption, 4K video capture, obstacle avoidance, palm takeoff, gesture controls, and multiple flight modes. Its affordability, portability, and stability make it a beginner-friendly, travel-ready, and family-friendly option.
